SISA at First-ever PCI India Forum, March 2019

The PCI Security Standards Council recently hosted the PCI India Forum Event in New Delhi on March 13, 2019. A very engaging and informative event, it featured payment and cyber security experts and organizations discussing challenges and opportunities for data security in India. The event witnessed a mix profile and participants including Info-security managers, CIO’s, CISO’s, Compliance Managers, and Senior Consultants, etc. who were keen to understand the payment security best practices from industry experts.

Mr. Dharshan Shanthamurthy, Founder and CEO, SISA Information Security, delivered a session titled, “Technology and Payments – Lessons Learned from Data Breaches in 2018,” which was extremely well-received. It took a closer look at recent breaches and shared key learning.

SISA’s booth at the event saw a number of footfalls, a testimony to the growing awareness, interest, and eagerness to learn about cyber-security.

Mr. Lance J. Johnson, Executive Director at PCI SSC, delivered the keynote address with insights into the current and future payment security landscape. Other speakers included Mr. Nitin Bhatnagar, Associate Director India at PCI SSC. Mr. Jeremy King, International Director Europe at PCI SSC, who spoke about PCI Security Standards and Programs Update.
